1 & 1 offers mobile monitoring for servers and VPS Root

1 & 1 has presented Smartphone Apps for monitoring the rented VPS or Dedicated Server. Customers of web hosting providers can be tracked so that the status of the rented server can be known anytime and anywhere and they will be informed in case of failure. For many people, the smartphone has become a daily companion. There are many applications available for Android, iPhone, or other smartphones are many applications available so that the cell phone can be extended to other important functions.

Mobile server monitoring for Smartphones. 1 & 1 is now available for the mobile monitoring of customer dedicated servers rented presented Apps. Customers with rented root server,a VPS hosting server or a Dynamic Cloud can now have  up-to-date information about your own server any time via a smartphone In addition to the current state, it can be targeted to tell the status of the server and individual services also can be monitored. Thus, ay any time you can verify that the server is working.

Currently the service is limited to customers who have chosen a root or rent vServer. Managed Server cannot be monitored by Apps so far. However, they cannot have their own services installed and the accessibility of the server is the responsibility of 1 & 1. SSH (Secure Shell) is one of the most important tools on a dedicated server. It gives you remote access to your server’s command line, making it easy to take advantage of powerful tools only your server’s shell can offer.

There are numerous ways to connect via SSH, since you can use it to tunnel other protocols, but not all operating systems approach it the exact same way. This is a basic guide to help you connect from any computer or device. Since desktop environments vary widely for Linux distributions, your terminal may have any of a variety of names: Gnome Terminal, Konsole, XFCE Terminal, or even Xterm. Start the one you can find, usually it is in the “System” or “Utilities” menu, and type the following to connect.

Being a Unix-like operating system, it gives MAC OS X the advantage of having several server tools built right into it. Therefore, you do not need any extra software to connect to your server’s shell. First, open Finder. Then, open the “Utilities” folder. Next, double-click “Terminal.”.This will open the only tool you need to manage your server. Use the normal SSH command to connect. Monitoring a server can be a full-time job in itself, especially if your dedicated servers hosts multiple websites. In Apache HTTP Server, each website is setup as a virtual host with its own set of logs. To monitor each independently is impossible when you have multiple sites.

image of servers.Instead, some system administrators just monitor the main Apache logs and hope for the best. If this makes you a little uneasy, there is a way to get more in-depth monitoring of your Apache activity. It is called mod_status. With it you can have real-time monitoring of your web server’s activities, and many Linux distributions include it as part of the default installation.

Among the things mod_status monitors are: number of worker serving requests, the number of idle workers, status of each worker, the tasks they are performing, and total bytes served, total bytes accessed and served, server restart times and the length of time it has been running, average requests per second, bytes served per second, and average bytes per request, CPU usage for each worker and total Apache CPU usage, list of current hosts and requests being processed.

The monitoring can be activated individually for each rented server. The application can be consulted via all enabled servers. For each separate server, the monitoring of individual services is added. There is not a single service or an entire server that can’t be reached; the customer will be through a red traffic light signals. Upon request, the customer can be notified directly in case of failure. Both the server status and the availability of services, a profile over the last 7 days is shown, so that downtime can be detected reliably. The apps are available for free for mobile devices with Android 1.6 or higher, the current iPhone and Nokia phones with Symbian S60 5th Edition. 1 & 1 will soon also be a web portal with additional features provide so that a smartphone without use or with a PC to be possible. Information to the provider and to the VPS Root Server and tariffs we have in our provider overview 1 & 1 ready made for you.

Romanian Wines

Romanian food is very diverse - rich flavoured, coloured and fragranced, highly influenced by history and foreign traditions, as well as specific plates. Romanian cuisine identifies with the notion of exquisite dishes, with luring smells that their aroma makes its way out of Romanian dishes photographs. What makes Romanian food so individual and special is the fact that the dishes are easy to be prepared, without special endowment and the ingredients are handy. The biggest influence over Romanian cuisine was the Balkan cuisine, but also of other nations, such as the German, Hungarian and Serbian cuisine.

The recipes carry the same influences, as the whole Romanian culture: from Romanians the flat cake or pie, a word that initially preserved the meaning of the Latin term of "placenta"; the Turks brought the quenelles soup and the Turkish cake in the shape of lozenge; the Greeks brought the dish, called "musaca" (a dish of vegetables and mince meat); the Bulgarians have a variety of mixed vegetable food such as "zacusca", and the schnitzel comes from the Austrians. The most common Romanian specific dish is the hominy; a broth of cornflower, which was considered for a long time poor man's food, but now has become more appreciated. The main meat used by Romanians is pork, but they also eat beef, chicken, mutton or lamb, depending on the geographic area. Some of the recipes are strictly related with the season or the holidays. Usually, on Christmas, each family used to sacrifice a pig and they used to fix a variety of dishes made from the meat and organs.  Sausages, blood pudding, black pudding, wrapped in pork intestines. Meat jelly, a jelly made of difficult to use pork parts such as ears, legs, and head, arranged in aspic jelly. Meat balls in cabbage, a delicious mixture of meat wrapped in cabbage leafs, garden sorrel.  Tochitura, some sort of stew served along with hominy and wine; And as something sweet, they have the traditional pound cake, sweet bread with nuts, cocoa or Turkish delight.

image of wine.
On Easter, Romanians eat lamb, and the specific dishes are Grilled lamb ("Roast lamb with savoury" recipe), Shiver, a backed mixture of organs, meat and fresh vegetables, especially green onion; ("Lamb shiver" recipe) And as a dessert matzos, a specific pie, with cheese and sultanas. ("Cheese matzos" recipe) The main drink is wine, remarkable by its force and bouquet with a local tradition of over 2 millenniums. Romania is the ninth major producer of wine in the world and recently the export market has registered a growth. A large scale of local sorts is produced like Feteasca, Grasa and Tamaioasa. The beer is also consumed at a large scale; under German influences.  Romania is the second large producer in the world of plums and almost the entire production of plums is used in order to produce "tuic3", a brandy of plums obtained through distillation. Romanian food and Romanian drinks can be a real challenge for any foreign visitors. With New Year's Eve toasts still lingering in the minds of some people, it's not uncommon to find some individuals raring to try some of the other good wines in the market. There are two ways to satisfy the palate when longing to sample good romanian wines. One is to order them with delicious entrees at fine dining restaurants. The other way is to visit a wine bar. Most entrepreneurs with a passion for fine vintages and good business sense have set up bars in places in the city that are a stone's throw from cultural locations like theatres and cinemas, or in gathering places where an upmarket clientele may gravitate to. Good bars are understandably also to be found in regions noted for producing the best wines.

Most bars offer a customer-friendly and relaxing ambience, making sampling a variety of wines pure pleasure. Some good shops carrying excellent wines even have the Enomatic serving system that lets customers sample a glassful of their desired options (poured at a precise volume) to help customers decide which ones to bottle from their cellars. Bars generally have a listing of wines that may number close to 40, that may be sampled by the glass. Bars may also have at hand knowledgeable servers who may gladly recommend suitable choices Classic red wines generally appeal to many.

Both seasoned and novice drinkers are familiar, for example, with Shiraz, grown in Australia and also in other countries, and can range from inexpensive bottles to first-growths. A great 1990 Australian Penfolds Grange, made from Shiraz and a miniscule amount of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, can satisfy palates longing for flavors of coffee, chocolate and mint. It's one of the vintages with a history spanning over five decades. For the initiated, choices may range from an awesome Romanian Merlot that's great for pairing with light dishes like cheese and omelettes, to Bordeaux wine with intense blackcurrant taste well-balanced with gentle tannins and oak ageing.

Debtor Help

Indebtedness is long considered to be a debt of shame. The irrational use of money was often the cause for the indebtedness, and considered to be the cause of the resulting financial problems Even today, there are currently about five million people in debt in Germany. Among them there are both young and older people from different social circles. The reasons for the indebtedness of so many are numerous.

Consumerism, miscalculation, unexpected unemployment, personal problems or failed start-ups are just some of these reasons. According to a study, now more than half of the 25 - to 50 year olds have problems with their finances and want to talk about it open to only a very few. Who is at fault, however, and one is often perplexed by the debt amount. In many there is a feeling of helplessness, alongside the shame and it is hard to ask for advice from family or friends. Many packaged together in this complicated situation realize that it is now time to seek professional advice.
image of debt.
The debtor’s assistance is affected as a focal point and guide in addressing their debt problems. Trained and experienced professionals are available to help indebted and helpless people to determine their financial situation and find a path to quick debt settlement. By the disclosure of their personal financial situation and the calculation of revenue and expenditures inclusive of the exact amount of debt settlement, there are several ways to effectively determine the way to setle this problem.

Moreover, debtor assistance can  help to check the legality of the debts by the debt collectors. In negotiations with creditors there are willing workers who can answer questions about consumer bankruptcy. In a series of events, people are already aware of legislation in debt, and learn what aspects and regulations they must observe for the settlement of debts. Especially young people and families can be helped with this as effectively and safely as possible.

The debtors’ assistance, however, deals with the area of prevention. Here, people are cared for, where the risk of debt is very high. In particular, young people are increasingly the victims of mis-lenders and have debt often for years. Parents can turn to these in case of doubt as to the debtor and receive assistance under a series of personal interviews or events, and get advice on prevention. In most cases, it is theaddiction of youth debt, personal problems or other tragedies that plays a major role. The proper handling of these issues can lead to more damage control.

Debtor assistance is offered in every state. Heavily indebted and vulnerable people are turning to this, most directly to the local debt advice agency or to the welfare office. About the closest debt counseling center is also the Internet, where you can go to for information. For general questions you are concerned about, you can take the online consultation.

Carnival makeup: skin and hair

Colorful faces and shiny hair are perfect for the many carnival masquerades. The products may contain harmful substances or cause allergies and skin irritations. Sprays and creams may, for example, cause eczema and blisters on the skin - even for just a short application in the carnival time. Therefore, you need to choose the right one for you.

Make sure that your hair is fixed well while wearing your fetish costume.

picture of costume.
Colorful hairstyles - with and without hair spray

If you do not want to miss out on colored hair should pay attention at least to the spraying or painting to spare the scalp. Hidden additives that might irritate the scalp and can cause skin rashes are n the colorful hair dyes. A gap of 30 centimeters must be met and you should hold your breath so that no particles will enter the lungs. Wash your hair thoroughly after the party with shampoo until the water runs clear. A good choice is a synthetic hair wig.

Colored Hair Spray: Use only with caution
Colored hair with a wig is a good alternate. The hair must match your costume especially when you are wearing a cheerleader costume.
Water-based theater make-up is better tolerated.

Water-soluble paint Carnival

Particularly in young children and people with allergies, there is the risk that they react sensitively to carnival makeup because these may contain many chemical additives such as preservatives, fragrances and emulsifiers. A reasonable alternative is water-soluble stage make-up. It is for daily use of most professionals.

Children make up - with practical make-up pencils

Children paint their faces like masks with makeup. A fitting and original face paint is in any case, an absolute highlight in parties.

The skin-friendly colors are tested and comply with the EU cosmetics regulations. In addition, the new product also meets the requirements for children's toys and is certified with the CE mark.

Tips for the right make-up in the carnival

The German Allergy and Asthma Association gives the following tips for those who want to make up the carnival as a clown, vampire, witch or princess:

Lotion with a rich cream before applying makeup.

Avoid frequent and large-scale make-up.

Ask about the ingredients carnival and theatrical make-up on, if there is no index is on the packaging.

Old paint that has been decomposed into its components or has rancid smell must not be used on the skin.

Dispense phosphorescent colors and glitter only as a gel or cream in children.

Children, allergy sufferers and people with sensitive skin should be tested with the paint before use.

Three Very Popular Alarm Clocks

Three Very Popular Alarm Clocks

The memory clock

You have to solve a small memory task to disable this alarm. The four colored buttons light up in a certain order, which you have to repeat. Therefore, getting out of bed in the morning is often a challenge for most people, especially for geeks.

This alarm clock forces you to get up. The memory clock has four colored buttons, which are each provided with a light emitting diode. These buttons light up in succession in parallel with the alarm sound, the sequence being selected by chance. You can only turn off the alarm when you press the buttons in the correct order. A new sequence plays if you select the wrong order and then you have to select this order correctly and so on.
This alarm clock may not represent a long-term problem because you can learn the sequence by heart and then getting up should not be so difficult anymore. The alarm clock has an LCD display that indicates the time in 12-hour or 24-hour mode. The alarm and the time are set using 4 buttons. There is also an extra button which you can use to enable the game mode, where you must enter the sequences without the alarm ringing.

Power supply: by battery
Required batteries: 4 AAA batteries (not included)

The sonic bomb alarm clock

This alarm clock is ideal for anyone who cannot wake up to normal alarm clocks any longer. In addition to the vibrations and flashes of light, the volume of the sonic bomb alarm clock can be adjusted and reach up to 113 decibels. You can also change the pitch. The vibrations are produced by an external vibrator, which is connected to the alarm clock via a cable, so you can easily put the vibrator under the pillow, for example. The flashes of light are produced by 3 small LEDs on the alarm clock.

The Sonic Bomb alarm clock has a digital time display in 12-hour mode and 24-hour mode, a snooze function so that you can sleep 9 min longer and a dimmer function so that you do not have to see the time display screen. The alarm clock itself is about 14 x 14 x 7 cm in size and the vibrator is 9.5 x 9.5 x 3 cm. The cable between the alarm and vibrator is about 1.8 m long. The alarm needs a constant power supply or an optional 9V battery (not included) that can help out in case of power failure. The power supply of the alarm clock has a USA plug and a 1.8 m long cable. Darth Vader 3D wall clock– The three-dimensional Darth Vader wall clock

When the light goes out, you can hear Darth Vader's breathing for 10 seconds and his eyes light up red.
You will feel a presence that you have not perceived for a long time... Have the power of the dark side on your bedroom wall! This Darth Vader 3D wall clock will tell you exactly when the hour of evil has come. Of course, the Darth Vader 3D digital wall clock is shaped like Darth Vader's head - with the mask, too. It is made of black, smooth plastic and it is designed in three dimensions.

This is a classic analog clock, which means that the time is shown by two clock hands. (This is aimed at the younger generation that only knows the digital system.) These hands mounted on the case show the hours, minutes and seconds. They are made from thin metal. The ticking of the seconds hand is pleasantly quiet and unobtrusive when forging plans to dominate the world. This is very impressive!

The appearance is not the only special thing about the Darth Vader 3D clock! The lights change from light to dark and you can hear the spooky death rattles of the most famous of all Sith Lords for 10 seconds. Also, his eyes light up in an angry red shade. That gladdens the heart of every Star Wars fan! The Darth Vader 3D clock has a hook on the back so that it can be hung on the wall. The tiny light sensor on the case is no longer visible when the clock is mounted on the wall. You need a small screwdriver to put in the batteries. Last but not least, you should know that the Darth Vader 3D clock is a licensed product.

Technical details

Dimensions: 20 x 20 x 11cm
Required batteries: 3 AAA batteries (not included)
