Heat Pumps

A heat pump works more or less like a refrigerator, only that it has an opposite purpose. The interior of the refrigerator is a heat exchanger system, which removes the warm air, so that the temperature inside the refrigerator becomes lowered. The heat pump withdraws the heat. The heat pump then absorbs the heat again, but a higher temperature is obtained in order to heat water for industrial purposes.

The heat sources used are the soil, groundwater or the atmosphere. The soil has a depth of 10 m and a constant temperature of +10 degrees Celsius in winter. First, a hole at least 10 m deep is dug in the ground. Two connected tubes go through this hole, the heat transfer medium being a liquid. The heat is removed and the rising liquid is transported in the heat pump in order for a higher level temperature to be available for heating purposes. Use only high quality plumbing tools. Similar work soil collectors are to be routed at a depth of about 1 m to 1.5 m. Longer tubes are laid in the ground for sufficient heat to be escape, so that the heat pump reaches the higher level required. Groundwater, pumped up blogs and the heat from the water enable the heat pump to reach the higher level required. The cooled water travels through the tubes into the ground. The outside air can be sucked in and sent to a heat pump.
