The Martingale game system
The Martingale system is the oldest gaming system known and it is very simple. You start with a bet and if you win, you start over and invest the same amount of money again. In case of a loss, you double your bet. Practically, you double the last bet every time you lose and you will win in the end. When you win, you reach zero + your first bet and you start all over again. Is this a totally foolproof system or not? According to some experts, this is a completely lethal system. The whole thing is based on the casino not having a maximum stake. You must have a very large bankroll just to recover what you have lost. Of course, many players have won using this system but there are even more that ended up with big holes in the bankroll.
Example:
You bet 5 USD and lose.
You bet 10 USD and lose.
You bet 20 USD and lose.
You bet 40 USD and lose.
You bet 80 USD and lose.
You bet 160 USD and lose.
You bet 320 USD and lose.
Now you approach your maximum bet at the casino and you have to bet 640 USD in order to win 5 USD. If you lose, your next bet is 1,280 USD! As you can see, this is a dangerous system but it starts from the premises that you cannot lose 7-8 or more times in a row. So you are advised to be careful about the various roulette systems you try. Of course, you can make use of them but you must be aware that you are taking a big risk.
The D'Alembert system
Another game system used by many is the D'Alembert system. The inventor of the D'Alembert system was a French mathematician named Jean le Rond D'Alembert, who lived in the 1700s.
The D'Alembert system is simple. It is based on the following principle:
You start by placing a bet and you double your bet if you lose. If you win, you cut the bet to half of the initial amount. Many people believe that the D'Alembert system works well but you should always remember that there is no foolproof gambling system.
